8:00 am
teachers doing it. but i'm not talking about teachers. you know, cnn came on and said it donald trump wants all teachers. okay, fake news. fake news. i don't want a person that has never handled a gun that it would not know what i gun looks like to be armed. but out of your teaching population, out of your teaching population, you have 10%, 20% of what very gun adept people. a military people. law enforcement people. they teach. they teach. and something i thought of this morning. since i found and watched peterson, the deputy who didn't go into the school because he didn't want to go into the school, okay? he was tested under fire, and it wasn't a good result. but you know what i thought of as soon as i saw the outcome of teachers, and i've seen them. at a lot of schools where they
8:01 am
have had problems. these teachers love their students, and the students love their teachers, in many cases. these teachers love their students. and these teachers are talented with weaponry and with guns. and that's it -- they feel safe. and i'd rather have somebody that loves their students and wants to protect their students then somebody standing outside that doesn't know anybody and it doesn't know the students, and frankly, for whatever reason, decided not to go in, even though he heard lots of shots being fired. inside. the teachers and the coaches and other people in the building, the dean, the assistant dean, the principal, they can -- they love their people. they want to protect these kids. and i think what's better without, this may be 10% or 20% of the teachers. it is not all of them.
8:02 am
but you would have a lot. and he would tell people that they are inside. and the beauty is it's concealed. nobody would ever see it. unless they needed it. it is concealed. so this crazy man who walked in wouldn't even know who has it. that's good. that's not bad, that's good. and the teacher would have shot the hell out of him before he knew what happened. [cheers and applause] they love their students. they love their students, folks, remember that. they love their students. and i'm telling you, that would work. because we need offensive capability. we can't just say oh, it is a gun free zone. because then what happens outside? the students now leave school and you have 1,000 students.
8:03 am
you've got to 3500 at the school that we're talking about. but you have 1,000 students standing outside. the teachers are out there also. if a mad man comes along, we have the same problem, but it's outside the school. or they drive cars. a lot of things can happen. i want to stop it, and i know it's a little controversial to say, but since i started this two days ago, a lot of people that were totally opposed to it now agree. they love their students. they don't want their students to be killed. they want them to be heard. so we have to do something that works. and one of the biggest measures that we will do, and everybody in this room i think has to agree and, there is nobody that loves the second amendment more than i do. and there's nobody that respects the nra, they are friends of mine. they are great people. they are patriots. they are great people. but we really do have to strengthen up, really strengthen
8:04 am
our background checks. we have to do that. [applause] and we have to -- for the mentally ill -- , we don't want people that are mentally ill to be having any form of weaponry. we have to be very strong on that. so we are going to do that, and i really believe that congress is going to get it through this time. and they have somebody who wants to get it there, not somebody who is all talk and no action, like some of these folks. this is somebody who wants to get it through. but i also want to protect. we need a hardened site. it can't be soft. they will sneak in through a window, they will sneak in some way, and again, you're standing there totally unprotected. you know the five great soldiers from four years ago, three of them were world-class marksmen. they were at a military base, and a gun free zone.
8:05 am
they were asked it to check their guns quite far away. and a maniac walked in, guns blazing, killed all five of them. he would not have had a chance if these world-class marksmen had a -- on a military base -- access to their guns, and i'm going to look at that whole policy on the military bases. if we can't have -- [applause] all five were killed. all five. the guy would not have had a chance. but we are going to look at that whole military base gun free zone. if we can't have our military holding guns, it's pretty bad. we have had a number of instances on our military bases, you know that. so we want to protect our military bases. we are going to make our military stronger and better than it's ever been before.
8:06 am
we also need to create a culture in our country that cherishes life and human dignity. that's part of what we're talking about. a culture that condemns violence and never glorifies violence. we need to force the real human connections and it turned and colleagues into friends and neighbors that want to fight for us. we are not just having a conversation about school safet safety. you've had conversations, in all fairness, i am pretty new in this job. here more than a year. i have been watching the stuff go on for 20 years. the president gets up, everybody is enthusiastic for the first couple of days. and it fades, fades, fades. we want to see if we can get it done. we owe it to our country. i've been watching for a long time, lots of words and very
8:07 am
little action. you know, when you think about it, most of it is just common sense. it is not you love guns? do you hate guns? it's common sense. it's all common sense. and some of the strong as advocates about what i am saying are the strongest advocates. i know them very well. the strongest advocates. for the second amendment. but this is common sense. in addition to securing our schools also implementing a strategy to secure our streets. we want our kids to be safe everywhere they go. whether they are in a classroom, walking home from school, or just outside, playing with their friends. every child deserves to grow up in a safe community, surrounded by a loving family and to have a future filled with opportunity and with hope.
8:08 am
thank you. thank you. it's just not fair. we do see violent crime in america. it is a top priority for my administration. and we will do whatever it takes to get it done. no talk, we are going to do what it takes to get it done. as you have seen pretty well reported that we are significantly increasing gun prosecutions by tremendous percentages, and we are working to get violent offenders off our streets and behind bars and get them behind the bars quickly and for a long time. or get them the hell out of our country. in 2017, we brought cases against more violent offenders than any administration and a
8:09 am
quarter of a century. more than any administration, and we are just giving up. we have tough people. i tell you what. when you deal with ms-13, the only thing they understand is toughness. they don't want him to anything. if that i.c.e. agent is tougher than them, they respect him. we've got the toughest guys you've ever seen. they are tough. they don't respect anything else. and they shouldn't be in our country. they were let in four years. they shouldn't be, and we are getting them off. our administration prosecuted more people for federal firearms charges done has been done in more than a decade. and again, we are just gearing up with. we convicted 1,200 gang members and nearly 500 human traffickers. you know -- human trafficking -- you would think that we have
8:10 am
this in this age? and with our foreign partners, we have helped a charge or arrest more than 4,000 members of the savage gang that we talked about, ms-13. it now they don't like guns. you know why? they are not painful enough. these are animals. they cut people. they cut them. they cut them up into little pieces, and they want them to suffer. and we take them into our country because our immigration laws are so bad. when we catch them, it is called catch and release. we have to, by law, catch them and then release them. catch and release. and i can't get the democrats -- nobody has been able to for years to approve common sense measures that's when we catch of these animal killers, we can lock them up and throw away the keys.
8:11 am
in 2017, our brave i.c.e. officers arrested at more 100,000 criminal aliens who have committed tens of thousands of crimes. and believe me, these are great people. they cannot -- the laws are just against us. they are against -- they are against safety. they don't make sense. and you meet with democrats, and they are always fighting for the criminal. they are not fighting for law-abiding citizens. they are always fighting for the criminal. it doesn't make sense. here are just some of the criminal charges and convictions for the aliens arrested by us. 11,000 charges or convictions for sex crimes. 48,004 assault, 13,000 for burglary, and 1800 for killing
8:12 am
people. we are cracking down on the century cities. can you believe this? where they protect -- that is another one. because we want our cities to be sanctuaries for law-abiding americans, not for criminals. and by the way, the senate democrats and the house democrats have a totally abandoned daca. they don't even talk to me about it. they have totally abandon it. you know, we get the reputation like daca, it is not republican. well, let me tell you. it is a republican because we want to do something about daca. the democrats are being at totally unresponsive. they don't want to do anything about daca. i'm telling you. it is very possible that it will
8:13 am
not happen, and it is not because of the republicans. it is because of the democrats, and frankly, you better elect more democrats or it will never happen. [cheers and applause] the democrats voted in favor of century city's, in other words, they voted to protect the criminal aliens instead of voting to protect the american citizens. to secure our country, we are calling on congress to build a great border wall to stop dangerous drugs and criminals from pouring into our country. and now, they are willing to give us the wall. but they don't want to give us any of the laws to keep these people out. so, we are going to get the wall. but they don't want to give us all of the other things. chain migration, lottery.
8:14 am
think of the lottery. you have a country, they put names in it, do you think they are giving us their good people? no, not too many of you people are going to be in the lottery. so, we pick out people. then they turn out to be horrendous. and we don't understand why. they are not giving us their best people, folks. they are not giving it -- i mean use your head. they are giving us a -- at the lottery. i don't want people coming into this country with the lottery. i want people coming into this country based on a marriage. based on merit. [cheers and applause] i want people, and we all want to be admitting people who have
8:15 am
skills, who can support themselves, financially, who can contribute to our economy. who will love our people, and who will share our values, who will love our country. i don't want people who drive a car at 100 miles per hour down the west side highway and it kill eight innocent victims and destroy the lives of a 14 more. nobody talks about that. nobody ever talks about the people that have been so horribly injured, who lose a leg and arms in manhattan. where i used to spend my time. i know it very well. they stretch along the west side highway. people run in order to stay in shape. they want to be healthy. they want to look good. they run. they are running all the time, i see. they run. we work in different ways.
8:16 am
but they run. now, but think of this. they run. and they are so -- they want to be fit. they are proud people. they want to be fit. and they are running up and down the west side. it's beautiful. it's a beautiful thing. and this maniac takes a car going down the highway and just returns it to them and he kills agent -- but he really badly wounded 12-14 other people. so somebody, think of it. they run to stay in shape, they leave the house, jogging along, working hard, , and of going hoe two months later with no legs. or with no arm. four with two legs missing. nobody ever talks about that. they talk about the people, richly, that were killed. but they don't talk about the people whose lives have been just a change. it just changed. they don't talk about that. this guy came in through chain
8:17 am
migration. and a part of the lottery system. they say are 22 people came in with him. in other words, an aunt, and uncle, grandfather, a mother, father, whoever came here. but a lot of people came here. that's chain migration. let's see how those people are doing, by the way. we've got to change our way. the merit system. i want the merit system because you know it's happening? all of these companies are coming into our country, they are all coming into our country, and when they come in, we need people who are going to work. i am telling you, we need workers now. we need workers. when we walked in today, did anyone ever hear we do the snake? because i have five people outside -- could you do the snake it? i said well, people have heard it. who hasn't heard the snake? you should read it anyway.
8:18 am
let's do it anyway. i'll do it. should we do it? [cheers and applause] now, this was a rock and roll song. a rock 'n' roll song. but every time i do it, people -- and you have to think of this in terms of immigration. we have to have great people coming in. i want people to come into our country. and i want people who are going to help us, and i don't want people who are going to come in and be accepting all of the gifts of our country for the next 50 years and contribute nothing. i don't want that, and you don't want that. i want people that are going to help and people that are going to go to work for chrysler, who is now moving from mexico into michigan. as with so many others. and apple, by the way. and up in wisconsin. they are going to need 25,000 workers. i want people that can come in and get to work and work hard even if it means a learning
8:19 am
curve, that's fine, people who are going to come in and learn. and i want people that love us and look at security, and they want you to be safe, and they want to be safe. i want great people coming into this country. i don't want people coming in the way they do now. because i want people that contribute. so this is called -- this is called "the snake." think of it in terms of immigration. you may love it or you may say isn't that terrible? and if you say isn't that terrible, who cares? because the way they treat me, that's peanuts. immigration, on her way to work one morning, down the path, along the lake, a tenderhearted woman saw a poor half-hearted
8:20 am
frozen snake. his pretty colored skin had been all frosted with the do dominic. poor thing, she cried, i will take you in and take care of you. take me in, a tender woman, take me and for heaven sake. take me in, oh tender woman, side of the vicious snake. she wrapped him up all cozy and a comforter of silk. and laid him by her fireside with some honey and some milk. she hurried home from work that night and as soon as she arrived, she found that pretty snake she had taken in how to been revived. take me in, oh tender woman, for heaven sake. it take me in, oh tender woman,
8:21 am
sighed the vicious snake. she clutched him to her bosom. you're so beautiful, she cried. but if i had in to you and by surely, you would have died. she stroked his pretty skin again and kissed and held him tight. but instead of saying thank you, that snake gave her a vicious bite. take me in, tender woman, take me and for heaven sake. take me in, oh tender woman, sighed the vicious snake. i saved you, cried the women. and you've bitten me, heavens why? you know your bite is poisonous,
8:22 am
and now i'm going to die. oh, shut up, silly women said the reptile with a grin. you knew damn well i was a snake before you took me in. [cheers and applause] and that's what we're doing with our country, folks. we are letting people in, and it is going to be a lot of trouble. it's only getting worse. but we are giving you a protection never before. our law enforcement is doing a better job than we have ever done before. and we love our country. and we are going to take care of our country. okay, we are going to take care of our country.
8:23 am
so, just and the finishing, our country is starting to do very . our economy is it blazing. jobs are at a record level, jobs are so good. 2.7 million jobs created since the election. on employment claims have reached a 45 year low. african-american unemployment has reached the lowest level in our history. [cheers and applause] hispanic unemployment has reached the lowest level in our history.
8:24 am
women -- women unemployment is at the lowest level in 18 years. [cheers and applause] wages are rising for the first time in many, many, many years. small business confidence is at a record high, and thanks to our massive tax guides, millions of americans are getting to keep a great percentage of their money, instead of paying it to a government that there is it out the window. so i just leave you with this. we have to fight nancy pelosi. they want to give your money away. they want to give your money
8:25 am
away. they want to end your tax cuts, they want to do things that you wouldn't even believe, including taking your second amendment rights away. they will do that. they will do that. [boos] so we have to get out there, and we have to fight an '18 like never before. just the way you fought with us. just the way you thoughts with us. you fought so hard, and you were so tough, and you are so smart. you were so smart, and you know what? i know for a fact you did the right thing because we are looking at the numbers, and the numbers, even they have to give credit for the kind of numbers that we are producing. nobody has ever seen anything like it. under my administration, the era of economic surrender is over. we are renegotiating trade deals that are so bad, whether it is
8:26 am
nafta, or whether it is a world trade organization created china, that created it -- you look at china, it was going along like this, then we opened it -- it stupidly -- this deal. and it china has been like a rocket ship ever since. and now last year, we had almost a $500 billion trade deficit with china. we can't have that. we can't have that. i have great respect for the president, but we can't have that. we have to go, and we have to do what we have to do. we can't just let countries, as an example, mexico, we have a a $1,100,000,000,000 trade deficit with mexico. you know that help me? nafta is no good. it never was any good. but for some reason, nobody ever changed. they emptied our factories, you
8:27 am
should see the car plants and the auto plants in mexico. you have never seen anything like it before. i want those companies -- and i want them back here. i want them back here. they are going to come back here too. and we want to make our neighbors happy. but we can't continuously have other nations taking advantage of the united states. like never before. and this has gone on for a long time. this has gone on for longer period of the last administration was a disaster, but this have gone on for much longer than the last administration. and we have got to change it. we are going to change it, so we are renegotiating deals. and you know it? i hate to say it, but if we can't make a fair deal for the united states, we will start all over again. that is what we will have to do. [cheers and applause] so under my administration, and with your help, don't forget.
8:28 am
many of you were the forgotten people. you were the people that when the pulse came out, they did not know that you existed. the democrats were trying to figure out who you are because they want to get you back. but you work people -- we had people who never voted. at great patriots, but they never saw anybody they wanted to vote for, then they have trump and pence make america great again has, right? so our country is starting to do well. we are going to make it greater, better, safer than it ever was before. the reason is you. at this has been a great movement. they try like hell. we are even doing the right
8:29 am
thing for them. they just don't know it yet. they just don't know it yet. even the media, the media will absolutely support me sometime prior to the election. all those horrible people back there. they are going to support me. you know why? because if somebody else won, their ratings would go down, they would all be out of business. nobody would watch. they would all be out of business. so i just want to tell you that we are going to win. i would love you to get out there, work very hard for '18. we need more republicans to keep the tax cuts, keep this going. and i love you, i respect you, i appreciate everything that you have done for the country. [cheers and applause]
8:30 am
i appreciate everything you have done. i do want to say because people asked -- north korea, we are imposing the heaviest the heaviest sanctions ever imposed on the country before. and frankly and, hopefully, something positive can happen. we will see, but hopefully something positive can happen. but that was just announced, and i wanted to let you know. we have imposed the heaviest sanctions ever imposed, so ladies and gentlemen, thank you for everything. you have been incredible partners, incredible partners. and i will let you know in the absolute strongest of terms, we are going to make america great again, and i will never, ever, ever let you down. thank you very much.
8:31 am
thank you. [cheers and applause] ♪ >> for more than an hour and a quarter, he spoke of, the president in a buoyant and a boisterous reception from the conservative crowd at cpac, the annual gathering of conservatives in washington. we will get more into those korea sanctions that he mentioned, almost as an afterthought there at the very bottom of his speech. welcome to "happening now." what a way to start this friday. i am jon scott. >> and i am molly line. addressing for the second time, telling his support of crowd, those welcoming crowds, that's the administration has hit the ground running. chief white house correspondent john roberts is live on the north lawn for a look at what we just watched. >> molly, good morning to you, this is one of the longest speeches i have ever seen him give, that goes back to the campaign as well. sometimes he would touch the

hour mark, but that one was a full hour and 15 minutes, much of it talking about the marjory stoneman douglas shooting in parkland florida last week. a supporting common sense gun safety measures, improving background checks, making sure that mentally ill people don't get a hold of weapons. raising the minimum age to buy a rifle from 18 to 21. interesting that he did not mention that particular aspect of gun safety here at cpac. he also said that we need to turn schools from soft targets into hardened targets and armament certain staff members in the schools. listen to what the president said. >> i also believe that schools have to have some form of protection. they can't just be open and gun free. gun free is an invitation for these crazy people to come in and shoot. if they are not gun free, if there are guns inside, held by the right people, by highly

trained professional people, you are going to see this end. the president talking there on the way to the cpac conference, just south of d.c. and maryland. they present also asked about that broward county sheriff's deputy, scott peterson, who had been a resource officer, since . but stayed outside as the shooter was gunning down students and teachers. the president, with nothing kind to say about it, either at cpac or on the way to the helicopter. listen. >> when it came time to get in there and do something, he did not have the courage or something happen, but he certainly did a poor job, there is no question about that. it is a case where somebody was outside, they are trained, they didn't act improperly under pressure, or they were cowards.
8:34 am
it was a real shot to the police department. >> peterson resigned from the broward county sheriff's office yesterday. the president doubled down on his idea of arming and other certain teachers or coaches or other personnel in the school, saying these are people who love their students, they are with them every day. he would rather have somebody on the inside who loves her students armed rather than having a resource officer on the outside who may not know the students as well. the president, almost as an afterthought, mentioned north korea. we were told that this would be a big aspect of the speech. in fact, we had an excerpt given to us before he went on stage. what he was supposed to say, today i'm announcing that we're launching the largest set of new sanctions on the north korean regime. the treasury department will soon be taking action to further cut up sources of revenue and fuel that the regime uses to fund its nuclear program and sustain its military, by targeting 56 muscles, shipping companies, and a antitrade businesses that are resisting

north korea an evening sanctions, but the president just went over all of that. was talking about other things. mentioned it right at the end, but now, i'm going inside the white house with the treasury secretary, expected to walk us through these new north korea sanctions, the biggest package ever implemented up by the u.s. >> molly: it will be fascinating to hear. one of the things that he touched on, trying to activate that phase in that speech. it john roberts, we appreciate it. we know that you have work to do. we will let you head inside. >> jon: so the president touched on gun law reform in that speech. democrats have long called for sweeping changes to the nation's gun laws, including the president only now proposing certain restrictions, but at least one critic warns the g.o.p. gun temptation may be bad.
8:36 am
writing the florida shooting as rightly causing a new national debate, democrats rushed to capitalize on dead teens while ineffectually dragging out the same fatigued argument they have been making since the clinton era. they are back again with the assault weapons cry, calling for an arbitrary ban on assault weapons, when other weapons can kill just as efficiently. they have excelled in pointing out to the barrenness of this gun control with common sense, and pointing out the unifying thread behind these that shooting mental illness. the writer of these words, crimp to kimmitt, joins us now. do you think that they are falling into a trap with this? >> i don't think that you are going to see the g.o.p. signing on for an assault weapons ban or confiscation, which you are now hearing many democrats call for

as well, but you did hear the president and a john roberts just said he did not mention it in his speech, which is notable, but he called for raising the age at which you can purchase rifles. marco rubio is out there proposing that, also a new ban on magazines of large capacity. and i think there is a worry that republicans follow them down that road, and it is unfair to the people who are suffering in these massacres because this is not the solution. they are not going to stop the next tragedy. >> jon: while, why would a ban on large capacity magazine, why would that not work in your vehicles are marked >> well, anyone who is familiar with firearms know that you can get a round not simply by having a lot of magazines, this is actually what has happened in some of these prior shooting events as well too. that is not going to stop someone who is determined to go out and shoot a lot of people. the way that we do that is to make sure -- we make sure that

those that are mentally ill do not get their hands on these guns in the first place. >> jon: and the warning signs in this particular shooting events, were so clear and so obviously ignored. i mean, the list of contacts that nicholas cruz had with law enforcement, and the phone calls people made about him. all went unrecognized, it is absolutely appalling. >> this kid was painting a picture in 3d for anybody who would watch. i mean, we've had a failure now of the fbi, who was tipped off about him twice, the broward county police department, which was told about him 23 times, social services, which did not intervene in the family. the officer who stood outside and did not go in, and yet, we have seen people who are saying you don't need guns because we will protect you. it is not a wonder that a lot of americans are very skeptical of the arguments that government is the answer here. >> jon: and you point out in your column that we have tried a
8:39 am
ban on the so-called assault weapons in the past, and that is when the columbine attacks took place. >> yeah, exactly, and we have government reports that were done that have shown that it has no effect on overall homicide. we are not even talking about the right issues here. 80% of gun deaths from homicides are inflicted with handguns. so, we get these outside attention on certain types of firearms, and when we have school shootings like this, but again, the question is mental illness. how do we make sure that the people that are perpetrating these crimes don't get their hands on these weapons in the first place, and that is going to take, by the way, a lot of effort. if you want to prevent them from doing this, you have to know who they are in the first place. we have several laws that make it impossible to know who the potential killers are. so we've got some work to do. >> jon: 324, of that thought-provoking column in

familiar tactic for you take the local democrats and it tried to tie them to the folks in washington. nancy pelosi, of course. so your thoughts? are the democrats more motivated than they republicans? and will the strategy, one that has been tried before, work? >> i think democrats are exceptionally motivated, absolutely, but the people in the center, who depend on government to do the right thing, to make our economy grow so that things can get better, our outrage. that is why the democrats have won 30 slate of seats over the last -- what? 12 months appeared including the district of kentucky that donald trump carried by a 72%. that is more than just democrats who are average. that is a whole lot of people in the center, and even republicans were coming over to say the system is broken, donald trump has made it worse, and it is time to change directions. >> molly: so you argue that the democrats may eventually take a similar strategy, at the

employees, and a two working people, and at the same time, the rest of it is going -- the other 90% is all going to shareholder buybacks. bank of america passed on a tiny fraction -- even set on their recent stockholder call, that is their plan, their intention. the white house promised 4,000, it is not coming through. they should be held accountable for that. >> molly: reported earlier this week that he had some internal polling that shows that most voters in swing states believe that the tax bill will actually benefit them. you have had a chance to listen to the vice president and the president today, both looking to 2018, don't be complacent. your thoughts on if the republicans are as energized as the democrats going forward? >> i think they are because they are energized by results. this was a great speech, over one hour and 15 minutes, it was more patriotic than partisan. the party in power, as the present pointed out, history tells us since the civil war, on average, we lose to senate

seats, we cannot afford to lose either chamber. we have to build on our majority, that was what the president said. we have to take action, transfer or that it to the people who will be voting in november. and by the way, history has also taught us that if the economy is doing well, people are going to vote with their pocketbooks and give the benefit to the people who provided change. people are getting tax cuts, but they are also getting a benefit by returning bonuses by their employer. >> molly: we had a chance to listen to a little bit of what the vice president had to say, the presence also spoke on this issue. do we have that? all right, what he he said, essentially, that his concern about the other party moving in, and to taking over, urging the republicans not to be complacent. they will put judges and you wouldn't believe, they will take away the second amendment, some of these really hot button issues, and the one standing in, do you think that is effective?

saying we can't let this happen? >> yes, because we know what would have happened if donald trump would not have been president. we would not have a record number of lower court judges approved the mic approved. we would not have milk or -- ss the lower houses, estates, communities, like parkland, who should be ruling their own people, washington can only do for the people what we cannot do for ourselves, and the regulations, the restoring of our economy, that is really what's the republicans have most to be proud of. >> molly: we have had a chance to talk about some of these strategies that are unfolding, i have time for just one more question, so i think i will start with you. quickly, if you could. it named something that you think will help the democrats won as we get closer to these

midterms. >> something that helps the people, the people who power america and the american economy, whether that is tackling student college debt, tackling jobs, helping to increase wages, or whether it is actually fixing the brokenness of the tax policies so that it favors working people and the people who pay into the system, not just multinational banks and corporations. what he is not telling you is the fact that 80% of companies surveyed said they are not even considering passing on their tax benefit to working americans, who expect to see less than 2%. yes, it is, you can check the site. try google, if you don't believe me. i would be happy to teach you how to use google afterwards. be too broad, your response. >> here's the difference. republicans believe in the power of the individual. it is not the individual sending money to the government, we are returning money to the individuals. we are returning money to the people who create jobs.

over 2.7 million jobs have been created, and more on the way. >> molly: sorry, i am under -- i appreciate both of your insights. as we get closer to 2018, we will have more time to talk about it coming and we will be right back. thank you.
